Sanjay Kataria is Inteva’s Vice President and Managing Director for India and Rest of Asia (non-China), where he spearheads business growth, operational excellence, and profitability across these dynamic markets. Sanjay is also instrumental in driving global engineering and business support activities through Inteva’s India Technical Center (ITC) in Bengaluru, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions to Inteva sites worldwide.

With over three decades of experience in the automotive industry, Sanjay is recognized for his leadership and deep expertise in managing the full product lifecycle—from concept to commercialization. Sanjay has an extensive track record in customer and product strategy, business development, product development and execution, capital management, and operational quality. Prior to joining Inteva in 2012, Sanjay held several leadership roles at Delphi, where he managed business development, program management, and engineering functions across multiple product lines and geographies, including the United States, China, South Korea, and India. His hands-on global experience and customer-centric approach have enabled him to successfully lead challenging assignments and deliver enterprise-wide impact.

Sanjay holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee; a Master of Science in Multidisciplinary Engineering from Purdue University; and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
