At Inteva, we take seriously our responsibility to be good stewards of the environment. Since our founding in 2008, we have remained committed to taking meaningful actions to ensure the health and safety of our employees, caring for our communities, and creating products that meet our customers’ expectations while protecting the environment. From reducing waste in our offices and technical centers to implementing energy-efficient lighting and solar panels at our sites, we work to lessen our carbon footprint and protect the air and water we all need.
In 2023, Inteva aligned its sustainability goals with the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Inteva currently has policies and events supporting 13 of the goals. We recognize the importance of each and are committed to expanding our reach to all 17 goals in the future.
To emphasize the importance of sustainability in our operations, Inteva has established a Sustainability Team from across the organization to ensure our efforts continue moving us toward reducing our environmental impact in the communities where we live and work.
Our Sustainability Team has representatives from nearly every function of our business, as well as regional leads, all working to one common goal - a more sustainable future.
For our sustainability efforts, we’ve received industry honors like “Clean Industry” certification from Mexico’s Federal Agency for Environmental Protection (PROFEPA) and the CLEPA 2019 Innovation award in the Environment category.
