Richard Zheng serves as Vice President and Managing Director of Inteva China, overseeing the company’s multi-plant operations and driving strategic growth across the region. With over 38 years of automotive industry experience, he brings deep cross-functional expertise, having led teams in engineering, sales, program management, quality, customer service and operations. Since joining Inteva in 2009, he has held progressive leadership roles, including Managing Director of SDADS(Shanghai Inteva Automotive Door Systems Co.,ltd) and later, Managing Director of Inteva China, where he has been instrumental in expanding the company’s footprint and operational excellence. 

With a distinguished career spanning leading global automotive firms, Richard has held key executive positions at Jacobs Vehicle Systems (China), Delphi Saginaw Steering Systems(China), Delphi Engine & Energy Systems(China) and Delphi Chassis Systems (China), Cummins-Fleetguard (Shanghai) Filter Co., Ltd., and Dongfeng Motor Corporation. His expertise in manufacturing, business strategy, and cross-functional leadership has consistently delivered strong results in complex market environments. 

Richard holds a Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering from North University of China and he further pursued MBA from  Maastricht School of Management and Shanghai Maritime University. He also completed advanced studies at Hubei Automotive Industry College. 

Beyond his professional achievements, Richard enjoys scuba diving and has a keen interest in trendy electronics.
