
Inteva Products Vandalia Site Named Healthiest Employer, Ohio

TROY, Mich., Sept. 5, 2019 – Inteva Products, a leading global automotive supplier of engineered components and systems, announced today that their technical center in Vandalia, Ohio has been recognized as one of the 2019 Healthiest Employers. The Dayton Business Journal honored 26 local health-conscious organizations for creating and implementing outstanding health and wellness programs at an awards ceremony on September 5. This is the third year Inteva has been awarded.
“Inteva’s wellness program, InVigorate, is aimed at educating employees on the benefits of living healthy,” said Marco vom Wege, Executive Director of Interiors. “We are committed to enhancing employee well-being and creating a healthy worksite culture in line with our core value of providing a safe work environment.”
In Vandalia, an employee-driven wellness committee leads site wellness activities including regular walks during lunch hour, local after-hours yoga and participation in the Vandalia corporate challenge. Inteva offers free, confidential and professional coaching and educational services on variety of topics, such as: physical activity, weight management, nutrition, stress management, sleep hygiene, heart health and finance management.
All nominees were measured using six core features of workplace wellness including cultural and leadership commitment, foundational components, strategic planning, communication and marketing, programming and interventions, and reporting and analysis.
The Healthiest Employers program is dedicated to promoting wellness in business, educating on the value of a healthy workforce and rewarding organizations that are wellness leaders.
