TROY, Mich., May 7, 2019 – Inteva Products, a leading global Tier One automotive supplier of engineered components and systems, announced today that is has completed the sale of its Roof Systems product line to CIE Automotive.

The sale closed late yesterday after several months of preparation and ongoing communications with affected employees, customers and suppliers.

Inteva acquired the Roof Systems business in 2011, when it purchased Arvin Meritor’s Light Vehicle Systems Business. Since then, Inteva improved the product line’s quality, efficiency, delivery and innovation leading to increased customer satisfaction and growth. The company also achieved industry recognition such as the International Innovation Award for its structurally integrated large panoramic sliding roof, presented by the European Association of Automotive Suppliers (CLEPA) in 2017.

Inteva Products will continue to provide industry leading Interior Systems, Closure Systems and Motors & Electronic Systems to its more than 100 customers worldwide.
